China Delivers 10th Batch of Aid to Myanmar, Including Modular Houses from Guangdong Guangshe

On May 2, 2025, the Chinese government handed over its tenth batch of emergency humanitarian aid supplies to Myanmar in Yangon. This batch included 18,000 tons of diesel oil. Additionally, as part of China's ongoing support, Guangdong Guangshe Modular Construction Co., Ltd. contributed by supplying 1,000 modular housing units to provide temporary shelter for those affected by the earthquake. These modular houses are designed for quick assembly and are equipped with essential amenities to ensure the comfort and safety of the displaced residents.

The 7.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28 has caused significant casualties and destruction, with the official data as of May 1 indicating 3,835 lives lost, 5,105 people injured, and 105 others still unaccounted for. China's swift and substantial aid reflects its commitment to supporting Myanmar's disaster relief and recovery efforts.
